Stored script execution via unescaped blacklist URL
Published Nov 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in RebelCode WP RSS Aggregator before 4.19.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a blacklist URL. The URL to Blacklist field stores attacker-supplied HTML without proper sanitization and later renders it without escaping. An administrator-level account can plant the payload even when unfiltered_html is disabled, and a later viewer's browser executes it in the site's security context.
