Arbitrary link and group deletion via nonce omission
Published Nov 29, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in KaizenCoders URL Shortify before 1.5.1 allows remote attackers to delete links or groups via an administrator's browser. The us_links and us_groups admin handlers accept bulk_delete actions and attacker-chosen link_ids or group_ids arrays without validating a CSRF nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open a crafted URL; successful requests delete the selected links or groups, with no broader impact reported.
