Stored XSS via unsanitized reaction label
Published Nov 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in WP Reactions Lite before 1.3.6 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in administrators' browsers. The Global Activation styling form saves an unsanitized reaction-label value and renders it whenever that setup step loads. An account with access to the wp-admin customization workflow can persist a payload that executes when an administrator revisits the Global Activation page.
