Published Nov 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in MotoPress Restaurant Menu before 2.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via crafted menu-item fields. Nutrition Facts and Portion Size fields accept markup without sufficient sanitization or output escaping, and the stored payload runs on administrative and public menu-item pages. Administrator-level access is required, and execution occurs when another user visits an affected menu-item view.
