Reflected XSS via pagination parameter
Published Oct 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected cross-site scripting in Enfold before 4.8.4 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's browser via crafted pagination URLs. The Avia Page Builder avia-element-paging query parameter is inserted into generated pagination buttons without adequate output encoding, so attacker-controlled markup is reflected in the response. Exploitation requires a victim to request or follow the crafted URL; successful execution can read or alter browser-context data available to the affected WordPress site.
