Unauthenticated post deletion via unchecked AJAX handler
Published Feb 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper access control in Orange Form 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary WordPress posts via AJAX requests. The or_delete_filed AJAX handler accepts a caller-supplied post identifier and deletes the selected post without authorization or CSRF validation. No account is required, and other post-action AJAX handlers also fail to verify ownership or permission, exposing site content to unauthorized modification.
