Stored XSS via unescaped post suffix setting
Published Oct 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Webdesi9 Inc. Duplicate Page 4.4.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via suffix settings. The Duplicate Post Suffix setting stores attacker-supplied markup and later inserts it into plugin output without adequate sanitization or escaping. Administrative privileges and a viewer loading the affected output are required; injected JavaScript executes in that viewer's browser even when unfiltered_html is disabled.
