Local privilege escalation in OSWatcher on Oracle Linux 7 and 8 allows local users with low privileges to take over the system. OSWatcher scripts use non-static command-path resolution, allowing an attacker-influenced executable to run instead of an intended utility. A valid low-privilege logon is required, and successful exploitation grants control of the affected host.
