Authenticated SQL injection via interpolated GET parameters
Published Nov 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Schreikasten 0.14.18 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Author access to read database data. Comments-dashboard edit, tracking, spam, ham, and blacklist handlers insert the id or tid GET value directly into SQL query strings without validation, escaping, or parameterization. An Author account and access to wp-admin are required; demonstrated time-delay payloads provide a database oracle, while broader write or command-execution impact is not established.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
