Stored XSS via unsanitized ticket taxonomy parameters
Published Sep 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in firebird75 WP Advanced Ticket System before 1.0.64 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in ticket viewers. The ticket editor stores the wats_select_ticket_type, wats_select_ticket_priority, and wats_select_ticket_status parameters without sanitization and later emits them without escaping. Exploitation requires high-privilege access and a victim to open the affected ticket page, where the payload runs in the victim's browser context.
