Authenticated stored XSS via unsanitized video embed code
Published Sep 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in WP Courses LMS before 2.0.44 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through a crafted Video Embed Code. The plugin stores that field without sanitizing embedded iframe content, so attacker-controlled JavaScript is later rendered on the course page. High-privilege access is required to save the payload, and script execution occurs when a user opens the affected course.
