Stored XSS via unsanitized HTML setting
Published Sep 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Evona Per Page Add to Head 1.4.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script through its HTML setting. The plugin stores the setting without neutralizing malicious HTML and emits it into page headers, where a frontend visit executes embedded event handlers. High-privilege access is required even when unfiltered_html is denied, and execution requires a user to visit an affected frontend page.
