Stored XSS via unsanitized review details
Published Sep 6, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Gemini Labs Site Reviews before 5.13.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in the Reviews list. The review editor accepts script markup in the Name and IP Address fields without sanitizing it and stores the values for later display in the dashboard list. Administrative access is required to plant the payload, unfiltered_html must be disabled, and the script runs when a user views the Reviews list.
