Stored XSS via forged Logo Title update
Published Aug 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Linesh Jose Blue Admin 21.06.01 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute script via a forged settings request. The plugin saves the Logo Title setting without a CSRF check, then outputs its value in a page without sanitization or escaping. An authenticated administrator must be induced to submit the forged request; the payload runs when the affected page is viewed.
