Stored XSS via unsanitized page title
Published Oct 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in WpDevArt Coming soon and Maintenance mode before 3.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to inject script via page settings. The plugin saves the Coming Soon page Title field without proper sanitization, then renders the stored value when the settings page reloads. An authenticated account must save a crafted title, and script execution occurs in the browser of a user who subsequently loads that page.
