Authenticated file inclusion via extract variable overwrite
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 11, 2025
Local file inclusion in RealMag777 FOX before 1.3.7 allows remote authenticated users to include server files via the woocs shortcode. The woocs_shortcode method passes shortcode attributes to render_html, where PHP extract overwrites the trusted pagepath variable before include executes it. Any logged-in WordPress account can render the shortcode; successful exploitation reads sensitive local files and executes PHP when an includable attacker-controlled file exists.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
