Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized edit parameter
Published Aug 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Omid Korat Timeline Calendar 1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL through the edit parameter. The event-editing request at wp-admin/admin.php?page=events inserts the edit GET value into an SQL statement without sanitization, validation, or escaping. Administrator-level access is required; a verified UNION SELECT proof of concept demonstrates database-query control, while additional injection points remain undescribed.
