SQL injection in Jerry Rietveld Simple Events Calendar 1.4.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. The delete-event handler copies the event_id POST value directly into unquoted DELETE and SELECT statements in simple-events-calendar.php. Administrator access to the existing-events page is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a time-based database query and database identity retrieval.
