Service interruption via undisclosed filter flaw
Published Jul 20, 2021 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Denial of service in Oracle Outside In Technology 8.5.5 allows remote attackers to hang or repeatedly crash applications via HTTP. Oracle identifies the locus as Outside In Filters but has not published the malformed input, parser operation, or code path responsible. Network reachability exists only when consuming software passes HTTP-supplied data into the SDK; successful exploitation interrupts that application's service.
