Stored script execution via unsanitized gallery titles
Published Aug 23, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in A WP Life Grid Gallery before 1.2.5 allows remote authenticated users to run script via a crafted gallery title. The admin-dashboard gallery form stores the title without adequate sanitization, and previewing the draft renders the injected JavaScript. An authenticated user who can add a gallery must save a crafted title, and a viewer must open its preview for the script to execute in the site context.
