Administrator-level SQL injection via unsanitized duplicate ID
Published Aug 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Wow-Company Side Menu Lite before 2.2.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute SQL through an admin request. The duplicate branch in admin/partials/include-data.php interpolates the unvalidated id request parameter directly into a SELECT statement. Administrator access or permission to manage the plugin is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a five-second database delay.
