Administrator-context script execution via reflected GET parameters
Published Aug 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Community Events before 1.4.8 allows remote attackers to run script in a logged-in administrator's browser. The admin-page handler writes the importrowscount and successimportcount GET parameters into its response without sanitization, validation, or escaping. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open a crafted URL; injected script runs in that administrator's browser context.
