Reflected script execution via unescaped settings inputs
Published Aug 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in PickPlugins Post Grid before 2.1.8 allows remote attackers to execute scripts through crafted settings-page requests. The slider-import keyword and settings tab values are inserted into administrative page output without adequate sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to open the crafted request, after which the script runs in the victim's WordPress origin with the victim's browser privileges.
