Database information disclosure via unvalidated report ordering
Published Aug 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in AYS Pro Plugins' Secure Copy Content Protection before 2.6.7 allows remote authenticated users to extract database information. The get_reports() function passes the unvalidated orderby value into SQL statements used by get_results(), permitting boolean-based blind query manipulation. Administrator access to the plugin dashboard is required, and the demonstrated technique enumerates database names without direct query output.
