Database disclosure via unsanitized shortcode IDs
Published Oct 4, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Jordy Meow Meow Gallery before 4.1.9 allows remote authenticated users to read or alter database data via a crafted shortcode. The gallery shortcode passes its unsanitized ids attribute into an SQL statement, and crafted query results can be deserialized as objects. Contributor access is sufficient; the demonstrated consequence is password-hash disclosure, while code execution depends on an available PHP object gadget chain.
