Database extraction via unvalidated orderby parameter
Published Aug 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in AYS Pro Plugins Facebook Popup Likebox before 3.5.3 allows remote authenticated users to extract database data. The get_fb_likeboxes() function passes the unvalidated orderby parameter into SQL statements used by get_results(), enabling boolean-based blind injection. Access to the WordPress admin dashboard and the plugin's list-sorting request is required, bounding exposure to authenticated users with access to that interface.
