Authenticated SQL injection via unvalidated orderby parameter
Published Aug 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in AYS Pro Plugins Portfolio Responsive Gallery before 1.1.8 allows remote authenticated users to access the database. The get_portfolios() and get_portfolio_attributes() methods place an unvalidated orderby dashboard parameter into SQL passed to get_results(). WordPress dashboard access is required, and crafted blind queries can read or alter database contents or interrupt database-backed service.
