Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized editid parameter
Published Sep 6, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Cashtomer 1.0.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries through the editid GET parameter. The plugin inserts editid into an SQL statement without sanitizing, escaping, or validating the value. An authenticated WordPress account is required; published sources disagree on whether Subscriber or Administrator access is needed.
