Unauthenticated database disclosure via unescaped selectedFolder query
Published Jul 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Ninja Team FileBird 4.7.3 allows remote attackers to read WordPress database data through an unauthenticated REST request. The endpoint passes the selectedFolder value from an HTTP POST body directly to get_col without escaping it for the SQL query. Anonymous access to wp-json/filebird/v1/gutenberg-get-images is sufficient, and crafted UNION queries expose database contents such as password hashes.
