Authenticated Java VM service interruption
Published Jul 20, 2021 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Denial of service in Oracle Database 12.1.0.2, 12.2.0.1, and 19c allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the Java VM. Oracle identifies the affected component only as Java VM and has not disclosed the code-level operation that mishandles attacker-controlled input. Exploitation requires Oracle Net access and a low-privileged database account with Create Procedure privilege; the reported consequence is partial Java VM service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
