Internal network scanning via unvalidated import URL
Published Aug 2, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SSRF in RSVPMaker before 8.7.3 allows remote authenticated users to scan internal network services through its import feature. The rsvpmaker_export_screen path passes the supplied importrsvp URL to wp_remote_get without restricting its destination. Administrator access and a valid WordPress nonce are required, and response errors disclose whether a requested internal port accepts connections.
