CVE-2021-24370Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated PHP execution via pre-sanitization extension check

Published Jun 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Unrestricted file upload in Radykal Fancy Product Designer before 4.6.9 allows remote attackers to execute PHP code via a crafted upload. The custom-image-handler.php path passes an attacker-supplied filename to FPD_Image_Utils::sanitize_filename, which checks dangerous extensions before sanitizing the name and lets a disguised PHP suffix survive. No authentication is required; Apache exposes the handler through the fpd_custom_uplod_file AJAX action, while NGINX can expose it directly, enabling full WordPress site takeover.
