Administrator-session script execution via unescaped result identifier
Published Jun 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Quiz and Survey Master before 7.1.18 allows remote attackers to execute script in an administrator's browser. The result-display path inserts the result_id query parameter into the page without sanitizing or escaping it. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open a crafted link; the resulting script runs with that administrator's browser privileges.
