Database disclosure via unsanitized AJAX query parameters
Published Jun 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in AyeCode Ltd GeoDirectory Location Manager before 2.1.0.10 allows remote attackers to read database data. The gd_popular_location_list AJAX action places unsanitized order_by, location-filter, and what parameters into SQL sorting, filtering, and grouping clauses. Exploitation requires an exposed page that loads widget-functions.php and provides a valid nonce and session cookie; boolean or error responses then disclose database contents without WordPress authentication.
