Cross-site scripting in iFlyChat WordPress Chat before 4.7.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted APP ID. The plugin stores the APP ID without sanitizing it and later emits the value into an administrative page, allowing injected markup and script to execute in a WordPress administrator's browser. Exploitation requires authenticated administrator-level access and victim interaction with the affected page; the demonstrated consequence is client-side confidentiality and integrity impact without service interruption.
