Stored XSS via unsanitized analytics identifiers
Published Jun 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Brainstorm Force CartFlows before 1.6.13 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via analytics settings. The cartflows_save_global_settings AJAX handler stores facebook_pixel_id and google_analytics_id values without sanitizing them before page-script output. A high-privilege WordPress account must store the payload, which then runs for visitors on funnel pages or site-wide when site tracking is enabled.
