Unauthenticated reflected XSS via listing parameters
Published Jun 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in BoldThemes Bello WordPress Theme before 1.6.0 allows remote attackers to execute script in visitors’ browsers via listing-page parameters. The listing page reflects listing_list_view and bt_bb_listing_field_* query values without proper sanitization or escaping, allowing injected markup and script to reach the response. Exploitation is unauthenticated but requires a victim to request a crafted URL; impact is limited to actions and data available in that victim’s browser context.
