Authenticated content deletion via unchecked object ownership
Published Jun 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
IDOR in PureThemes Listeo before 1.6.11 allows remote authenticated users to delete arbitrary posts, pages, and bookings. The listing deletion action and listeo_bookings_manage AJAX handler accept user-controlled object IDs without verifying that the requester owns the selected record. Any authenticated account can permanently remove another account's content by submitting a crafted GET or POST request with a valid session and nonce.
