Denial of service in Oracle Outside In Technology 8.5.5 allows remote attackers to cause a hang or repeatable crash via HTTP. Oracle identifies Outside In Filters as the affected component but has not published the malformed input, parser, file format, or incorrect operation that triggers the failure. Network exposure exists only when consuming software passes HTTP-received data directly into the SDK; the documented consequence is availability loss without data disclosure or modification.
