Privilege escalation in Store Locator Plus for WordPress 5.5.14 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to gain administrator access. The slp_change_option AJAX action accepts user_meta[wp_capabilities] input and writes the administrator capability without a capability check. A subscriber account is sufficient to alter its WordPress role and take full administrative control of the site.
