Administrator-session script execution via unescaped counter fields
Published May 14, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Flector RSS for Yandex Turbo before 1.30 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through counter settings. The Счетчики settings tab stores six counter-field values without adequate sanitization and renders them into the settings page without contextual escaping. An administrator must store the payload, and a victim must open or interact with that page, which runs attacker-controlled JavaScript in the victim's browser.
