Stored XSS via unsanitized form-field labels
Published May 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Business Directory Plugin before 5.11.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a form-field label. The form-field editor stores the Field Label value without sanitization, and plugin pages render that value so injected script runs in visiting browsers. Administrator access is required to save the payload; execution occurs when a user opens an affected directory, listing, import/export, or settings page.
