Unauthenticated code execution via manual-update file upload
Published Apr 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Unrestricted file upload in Business Hours Pro 5.5.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code through manual updates. The manual update functionality accepts arbitrary attacker-supplied files, but public sources do not identify the responsible file, function, or missing validation check. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful upload permits code execution in the WordPress site's server context.
