Unauthenticated redirection via attacker-controlled resource URL
Published Apr 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Open redirect in Kibo IT PhastPress before 1.111 allows remote attackers to send victims to arbitrary sites through crafted phast.php requests. The resource endpoint trusts an attacker-controlled src URL supplied through its scripts service or encoded image-request form and returns that URL in a redirect. No authentication is required, but a victim must follow the crafted link; the result supports phishing without compromising the WordPress site itself.
