Authenticated database disclosure via unsanitized length parameter
Published Apr 12, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Boolean-based blind SQL injection in wpDataTables before 3.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to read the WordPress database. The get_wdtable AJAX table-list request incorporates the untrusted length POST parameter into a database query without safe neutralization. Any WordPress account can reach the request after an administrator creates a simple table with default settings, exposing database contents and stored credentials.
