Admin-level SQL injection via unsanitized sort parameters
Published Mar 18, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Flipper Code WP Maps before 4.1.5 allows remote authenticated users to manipulate queries through Manage Locations. The page passes request-supplied order and orderby values into an SQL ORDER BY clause without validation, enabling boolean- and time-based blind expressions. An administrator-level WordPress account and at least two configured locations are required; demonstrated effects include controlled query results and response delay.
