Contributor-level stored XSS via unencoded biography
Published Mar 18, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in WP Darko Team Members before 5.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a member biography. The plugin accepts unvalidated Description/biography input and renders it without output encoding, so stored HTML or JavaScript executes when the member is displayed. Contributor-level access is required, and execution depends on another user viewing the affected team-member output.
