Denial of service in the Windows Trust Verification API allows remote attackers to interrupt affected Windows systems through user interaction. Microsoft has not published the flawed operation or attacker-controlled input handled incorrectly by the API. Exploitation requires user interaction, and Microsoft does not identify whether the resulting interruption is a process crash, service hang, or wider system outage.
