CVE-2021-24046Network attack vector

Capture-setting modification via mutable device parameters

Published Jan 14, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Logic error in Ray-Ban Stories device software before 2107460.6810.0 allows attackers to modify capture parameters through Facebook View. The firmware accepts changes from the companion application to parameters intended to remain immutable, including the video capture duration limit.
