Improper authentication in Fortinet FortiManager 6.4.3/6.2.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to assign Policy and Object modules via crafted requests. The request handler accepts module-assignment requests without correctly authenticating the caller, allowing unauthorized policy and object changes. Access requires a valid authenticated account and network reachability; the published impact is integrity modification without reported confidentiality loss.
